Overview

The Alanya dolphin show is a delightful half-day programme, especially for families with children. The dolphin park sits 20 km from Alanya, at Türkler.

There are two daily sessions: 09:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:00 — you pick the one that suits you when booking. You are collected from your hotel and taken to the park; in the hour-long show, dolphins and sea lions perform acrobatics and tricks with professional trainers. The show is as informative as it is fun — the trainers also talk about the animals.

After the show, those who wish can swim with the dolphins (at extra cost; bring a swimsuit and towel). At the end of the programme you are driven back to your hotel.

Do I need to book the dolphin swim in advance?

It can be added on site, but places are limited — note it in your booking to be sure. The swim happens after the show, in small groups under trainer supervision.

Is it suitable for small children?

Yes — it is one of our best programmes even for the youngest: the show is watched from the stands, it is short, and ages 0-3 go free. For the dolphin swim, the park's own age and height rules apply.

Is the morning or the afternoon session better?

The content is identical. The morning is cooler and usually calmer; the afternoon suits slow starters and leaves your beach morning intact.
