A 15 km descent on Turkey's biggest rafting course, a swim stop at the ancient Roman bridge and lunch by the river. Equipment and transfer included.
The Alanya rafting tour heads north of Antalya to Köprülü Canyon — the largest and best-known rafting area in Turkey. You are collected from your hotel around 08:00 for a journey of roughly two and a half hours in an air-conditioned coach.
On arrival your guide covers safety and paddling technique and hands out your equipment. At about 11:30 you move to the ancient Roman bridge, where there is a swim and photo stop and a short walk in the ice-cold water.
The course covers 15 kilometres in total: a 9 km section first, then 6 km. Between them, lunch is served by the river (chicken, rice and salad; drinks are extra) and you can swim. For the experienced there is also a two-person boat without a guide (at extra cost). Rafting finishes around 15:30 and you are back at your hotel by about 18:30.
