Overview

The Alanya sunset boat trip is for anyone who would rather head out once the heat of the day has passed. You are collected from your hotel around 17:00 and set off from Alanya harbour on a three-deck boat.

The route covers the same highlights as the day cruise but in completely different light: a first swim stop by the shipyard near Kızılkule, then the Pirates', Phosphorus and Lovers' caves, followed by another stop at the famous Cleopatra Beach.

Dinner is served on board at the new harbour (chicken, pasta and salad) and soft drinks are free throughout. After the meal there is a final swim near Ulaş beach, with a foam party, animation and music rounding off the evening. On the way back across open water you watch the sun drop into the sea, and you are at your hotel by about 21:30 — ideal for couples and families after a calm evening.

The route is largely the same, but the timing changes the experience: milder heat, a calmer boat, dinner instead of lunch, and the sunset over the sea on the way back.

Are the swim stops in the dark?

No. The swim stops fall in the first part of the trip while it is still light. Darkness comes during dinner and the return leg.

Is it suitable for couples, or is it noisy?

There is music and animation on board, but with three decks it is easy to find a quiet corner. The upper deck is usually chosen for the views and the sunset.
