A guided walk through ancient Side, the largest mosque in the Antalya region and a swim at the forest-hidden Paradise waterfalls. Trout lunch included.
This tour is for anyone who wants history and nature in a single day. It covers Side and the Manavgat area, 65 km from Alanya, and rounds the day off with a swim at waterfalls hidden in the forest.
You are collected from your hotel around 08:30 by open-top or air-conditioned coach. The first stop is the Manavgat Külliye Mosque — with room for 4,000 worshippers, the largest in the Antalya region. Next comes ancient Side: on a guided walk of about an hour you see the Agora, the Colonnaded Street, the State Agora, the Byzantine underground hospital and the amphitheatre. Afterwards you have an hour of free time in the bazaar on Side's harbour street.
The second half of the day belongs to the Hidden Paradise waterfalls: lunch is served here (grilled trout or chicken shish with rice and seasonal salad), followed by a swim at the falls and a short walk in the forest. You are back at your hotel around 18:00.
This tour runs three days a week: Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
