Overview

The Alanya ATV safari is a half-day adventure on quad bikes, riding dirt and mud tracks in the forested foothills of the Taurus Mountains. No driving licence is required — the machines are automatic and easy to handle.

You are collected from your hotel or address and taken to the quad safari base. Your guide gives a riding and safety briefing, then a short test drive lets you get used to the machine. The route runs in convoy with the guide; during roughly two hours of riding there is a break to rest and cool off.

Along the way there is a photo stop at the historic Alarahan caravanserai. After the ride you return to the ATV station and are driven back to your hotel. The tour runs twice a day: 08:30-12:30 and 14:30-18:30. Dust and mud are unavoidable — wear clothes and closed shoes you don't mind dirtying, and bring sunglasses and a bandana.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a driving licence?

No. The quads are automatic and easy to handle, and there is a short test drive and safety briefing beforehand. Never having ridden one is not a problem.

How many people can ride one quad?

The machines are designed for a single rider; if you would like to share one, add it as a booking note and availability is confirmed on site.

Should I pick the morning or the afternoon session?

The morning group (08:30-12:30) is cooler with less dust. The afternoon group (14:30-18:30) suits late starters, and the light on the way back is nicer for photos.
