Overview

A forest morning on horseback: no engine noise, no dust — just hoofbeats, pine scent and birdsong. The Alanya horse riding tour starts at the horse farm in Demirtaş village and reaches into the forested, hilly terrain around ancient Syedra.

You are collected from your hotel around 09:00. At the farm the guide explains mounting and the safety rules; the horses are calm and used to guests, so never having ridden is not a problem — the route moves at walking pace with the guide alongside.

After the 2.5-hour ride you return to the farm; during the rest and free time you can look through the photos taken along the way (buying them is optional). By around 13:00 you are back at your hotel — the rest of the day is yours.

I have never ridden — is it hard?

No. The horses are calm animals used to guest rides, and the route moves at walking pace. The guide stays with you throughout; after the first ten minutes most guests feel right at home.

Can children ride?

Children aged 8 and over can ride their own horse. For younger ones, short led rides inside the farm may be arranged — add a note when booking and we will confirm.

What should I wear?

Long trousers and closed shoes matter most — riding in shorts and flip-flops is both uncomfortable and risky. The forest can be cool in the morning, so a light layer helps.
