Overview

A few kilometres behind coastal Alanya lies a different world: mountain villages in the Taurus foothills where the nomadic Yörük culture still lives. This tour takes you to one of them, at the end of the Dim Valley.

You are collected around 09:00. The road itself is the first sight: mountain bends and a drive through the great canyon, with photo and mosque stops. On reaching the village, lunch is served at the restaurant (included); you can swim in the pool before or after the meal.

In the afternoon you walk through the village and are welcomed into a village house — seeing daily life, the kitchen and the traditions first-hand. A 45-minute swim break follows. The return runs along the Dim river heights, with photo stops looking down into the valley. You are at your hotel around 16:00.
